Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to every safari booking with SunAfrika Safaris. Please read carefully before confirming your reservation.
Price
All prices are quoted in Kenya Shillings or US Dollars and must be paid in cash, M-Pesa, credit card, or wire transfer. All prices are based on costs at the time of publication. SunAfrika Safaris reserves the right to change the prices at any time before your booking is made. SunAfrika Safaris will confirm price changes, if any, together with our confirmation of your booking.
Payment
Upon receipt of tour confirmation, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of total tour charges shall become payable, the balance being due and payable 45 days prior to departure date.
In the event of bookings being affected less than 60 days before departure, the full amount charged will be payable immediately. Where credit cards are used, we impose a 3.8% charge as bank service fees.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be in writing, via email, and be acknowledged by SunAfrika Safaris. All tours and safaris have a 100% non-refundable deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total tour cost.
All cancellations received in writing and agreed upon between the client and SunAfrika Safaris will receive the following refund:

No Refund Will Be Given For
- Itinerary amended after departure.
- Any unused portions of the tour after departure.
- Lost travel time or substitution of facilities.
- Failure to join a tour, joining after departure, or leaving prior to its completion.
Itinerary Changes
Please note that the itinerary we provide you with is an intended itinerary and may vary due to logistical reasons. We will strive to provide every activity on the itinerary, or where possible we will replace the activity with a suitable substitution.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money, and public liability before you travel.
We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in any optional activities that are outside the services booked with us. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings at any time during the duration of your safari.
Weather Conditions
Under no circumstances can SunAfrika Safaris be held responsible for weather conditions that may affect the delivery and implementation of our itinerary.
No Smoking Policy
We do not permit smoking on any of our vehicles. Some hotels, lodges, and resorts do not allow smoking, and so are some public areas you may be visiting while on safari with us. Please comply with the law at all areas you visit while on safari with us.
